LGF signed onto this letter from social justice funders as well as the Council on Foundations pledge "to act with fierce urgency to support our nonprofit partners as well as the people and communities hit hardest by the impacts of COVID-19”.
In June, LGF signed onto the Emergency Charity Stimulus petition, created by a network of philanthropic donors and leaders that is urging Congress to enact legislation requiring foundations to double the mandated annual foundation payout over the next three years, from 5% to 10%.
